New
York loves children. And they’re everywhere: posing on magazine
covers; dining out in style; strutting fashion runways and the
city’s streets. Broadway is putting on shows for them. Restaurants
are catering to them. Hotels have packages for them. New businesses
and brands are targeting them. Even Times Square, like a reformed
bad girl, has cleaned up its act (mostly) and is embracing the
PG set.
There
has been no better time to visit New York than right now. From
the outdoors (Central Park) to the indoors (play spaces, theater
and museums galore) from uptown to downtown and cross-town, New
York has something for everyone in the family. To take advantage
of everything the Big Apple has to offer, plan well to keep the
kids entertained, and be sure to leave some time to sip Cosmos
like the Sex and the City set after a long day touring the town.
